The Western Dragons as depicted in Medieval Art or the Oriental Dragons from China, Japan, and other Oriental cultures.
Western Dragons were viewed as evil, usually killed by heroic Knights rescuing the princess or some fair maiden.
Oriental Dragons are revered, bringers of good fortune provided you stay on their good side of course!
They are heavily seen in Oriental art, paintings, statues, et., etc.

I’m afraid my bias is toward western dragons.
This is purely from an aesthetic point of view.
I find oriental dragons too serpentine for my tastes.
Not that I have anything against snakes, I just prefer a great big, lumbering, fire-breathing dragon that sits on any knight that *dares* raise a sword against it – WUMFFFF.

I prefer the medieval ones. Although the Asian ones make more sense.
I like the persona of the eastern dragons much more, and if they existed i’d think that is what they were like. They are magical, wise, elemental creatures. But lets face it the western dragons just look SO cool

They are wonderful protectors of the home, children and a witches magick circle. They are wonderful creatures and I feel good knowing they are there.
As a pagan, we revere are all life, especially those who we work closely with

Got to be the Western Dragons; and by the way they are not all evil. The church had a piece trash talk about that.
The Western ones. I’m a sucker for evil. Of course, I usually find a way to make them seem great and amazing, but still, I love the evil ones. I’m sick and twisted like that.
