I want to get a tattoo using arabic calligraphy. I know that it’s possible to get phrases translated into a standard arabic font on the computer but I think drawn out arabic calligraphy looks absolutely beautiful. I would like the phrase "What’s seen is temporary but what’s unseen is eternal" or just "What’s unseen is eternal" (Whatever looks better written out). Could anyone help me find a way to have this done?

Thursday, July 29th, 2010Ok so I got a tattoo in November. I printed it out and gave it to the guy.
Its the Japanese symbols for Noah. ( Japanese culture means something to me ) And well he decided on his own to make a paint brush mark go up instead of down. So he wrote the symbol wrong.
I need it fixed but have been busy. I called and told them about it the day after I got it done. But my question is …. are they going to charge me to fix it?? Even though it was not my fault?

I know what it means my step grandmother is Japanese she wrote it out for me. And I know all these things that you mentioned duh.
And not that it matters to you but like I said Japanese culture means something to me. I dont have to explain that to you. I know what it says I had someone who has lived in Japan 80% of their life write it for me. So screw you on talking crap about something that means something to me. How about respect someone’s feelings to something they have chosen to get tattooed. Dont criticize it.
Oh and one more thing maybe you cant read but it didnt take me 4 months to notice this mistake…..

how good is kuro sumi tattoo ink?
Monday, July 19th, 2010i had a tattoo done and i didnt use aftercare or anything, and my tattoo is pretty faded. my mate went to the same guy, and he used after care, and his tattoo was also pretty faded, this guy uses kuro sumi ink, how good is it? is it the tattoo’ist? i watched miami ink on tele and when they are tattooing they hardly put the needle in the skin, i found this weird because the guy i went to put the needle in alot farer compared to the people who do it on miami ink, so it this guy just totally shit because he puts the needle in too much?

Sunday, May 9th, 2010I am looking for someone who can design a tattoo for me in Arabic calligraphy. I want to be sure that it is accurate. I want it to read "Look at the Darkness, giving birth to the Sun" . It is from a book that Khalil Gibran originally wrote in Arabic. I am considering different shapes for it: circle, maybe teardrop. Any other suggestions about shape are welcomed. I have looked online and all the calligraphy services are very expensive with no guarantees about the quality of the work. I don’t want to pay for something I may not be satisfied with. Can anyone help?
