How to get a license to posses samurai swords?

How to get a license to posses samurai swords? I already have three of them and I want to collect more but since April it seems I’m not allowed any more.
Is it possible to get listed as a collector and still be able to get them?

Where do you live, I started my weapons collection as a young teen and still collect a few things from time to time and, never had a problem as a youngster. Though I needed to show rank of at least a Red or Brown belt in order to have some of my edged weapons sharpened. I live in the state knowen as, 10,000 Lakes.

Where exactly are you? I am unfamiliar with any laws in the USA dictating a numbered limit on the amount of swords you can own. I take it you are elsewhere?

If that is so, you should probably state your country so that we can better help you with laws and such.

If you are in the US and are of legal age, there should be no laws governing how many you can have. I have well over 30 usable swords, both modern and antique, and have had police officers over to "play" with them. Not once has there been a problem.
